Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP)
Employment Coaching
Current Career Trainings:
- Phlebotomy (Current class began July 22)
- Healthcare Unit Coordinator (No remaining classes in 2024)
- Steam & Hot Water Boiler (No remaining classes in 2024)
- Commercial Driver’s License
- Twin Cities: Next class begins September 2
- Greater MN: Next class begins August 12
Program Requirements:
- Ages 18+ Years Old with MN ID
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent (US or Non-US)
- SSN / Documentation to Work in the U.S.
- English Proficiency. All these programs are delivered in English.

Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP)
- MFIP is the Minnesota’s welfare reform program for low-income families with children.
- Must apply for benefits through Hennepin County and then referred to CLUES to receive services
- Available in English, Spanish, or Somali
